Our region means that we have a wide and varied demographic with little choice in music. We try to programme music that has wide appeal.
For the more specialist sounds we have created focused hours of
particular genres. We are constantly creating new shows

Part of the mission we have adopted at Choice FM is to introduce our listeners to new music genres. There are so many great songs out there that never made it to the charts. With that in mind we have a new show comming soon called "EXPOSURE"
The hope it to do just that - give you exposure to great songs that are a little less mainstream.

Our station is run from an entirely digital suite. This gives us the best quality and relaibility available. We believe that technology is a our leading tool. This has allowed us to broadcast both via regular FM transmission but also worldwide through various streaming media. you can even liten direclty from our Facebook page!

Delivery is Key
We currently broadcast in Otematata and Twizel on what is termed a low power fm license (LPFM). You will find both stations on 87.9. We are in the process of applying for more powerful licenses in some regions to increase our footprint. Our intention is to expand the LPFM network into Kurow, Omarama, Tekapo and Farlie to give businesses withing this region the ability to encourage tourism between our centres.
